We ask that you double check your address. Don't forget to include the apartment or unit number in case it is needed for delivery. While we love offering affordable, and in many cases free shipping, additional shipping fees may be incurred if an incorrect or inadequate address causes a delivery error.

As a result of COVID-19, there are delays in certain parts of the country due to personnel and transport delays. Thanks for being patient during these difficult times. 

If you order $150 or more, you will automatically receive free shipping. We only apply this to orders over $150 after applying your coupon code.

Most orders are shipped the next business day (excluding weekends), with delivery taking between 3-5 business days. The delivery time for overseas orders can range from 7 to 16 days. The delivery details will be included in the confirmation email you receive.

PRODUCT

Plain Janes 7.5 oz candles have an average burn time of 50-70 hours if cared for properly. To make your Plain Janes candle lasts as long as possible, here are some tips. 


  • To ensure an even burn and long-lasting candle, light your candle for three to four hours during the first burning session.
  • It is advisable to not burn your candle for more than 5-6 hours at a time in order to preserve its fragrance.
  • To prevent black smoke, residue, and tunneling, trim the wick to 1/8" before each burn.
  • Prior to lighting, make sure the wick is free of debris.
  • Make sure that the wick is centered (only when the candle is not lit) if it needs to be centered.
  • Make sure the candle has solidified before relighting it.
  • Make sure your burning surface is flat, stable, and fireproof at all times.
  • Candles should never be left unattended while they burn.
  • If your candle's wax is less than 1/4" in the glass, you should not burn it.
  • If a hot candle is placed on a cold surface such as glass or marble, then the vessel could crack.

We always strive to ensure our customers love our products, but if you need to return an order, we're happy to help. The return period for unopened merchandise is fifteen days from the date of receipt. You can email us directly to get the process started. Please see the returns page for further details.

There is no refund or exchange on sale items.

At this time, we do not offer personalization options.

In the event that your order arrives damaged, we will either send you a replacement or refund you. Please email info@plainjanescandle.co with details about your order. In order to process any replacement or refund, please include photographs of the damaged items in question.

All of our skin products are scented and use only natural, plant-based ingredients. The candles we make are made of a soy and mineral wax blend and fragrance oils that provide strong, long-lasting fragrances. Diffusers also contain fragrance oils - that's why they fill a room so beautifully!
